نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ عَنْ اَدَاءِ فَرْضِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هذِهِ السَّنَةِ ِللهِ تَعَالَى
"Nawaitu shauma ghodin 'an adaa'i fardhi syahri romadhoona hadihis-sanati lillahi ta'aalaa."
Artinya: Saya niat berpuasa esok hari untuk menunaikan fardhu di Bulan Ramadan tahun ini karena Allah Ta'aala.
Bacaan Berbuka Puasa
Selain itu, sebelum berbuka puasa, umat Muslim juga harus membaca doa berbuka puasa, sebagai berikut:
اَللّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّحِمِيْنَ
"Allahumma lakasumtu wabika aamantu wa'alaa rizqika afthortu birohmatika yaa arhamar roohimiin."
Artinya: Ya Allah karena-Mu aku berpuasa, dengan-Mu aku beriman,
kepada-Mu aku berserah dan dengan rezeki-Mu aku berbuka (puasa), dengan
rahmat-Mu, Ya Allah Tuhan Maha Pengasih.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا أَفْطَرَ
قَالَ: ذَهَبَ الظَّمَـأُ، وابْــتَلَّتِ العُرُوقُ، وثَــبَتَ الأَجْرُ
إِن شَاءَ اللهُ
Nabi Saw ketika berbuka puasa, beliau membaca: Dzahabaz dzama-u, Wabtallatil ‘uruqu wa tsabatal ajru, Insyaa Allah
