وَنَقَلَ اِبْن الْمُنْذِرِ إِجْمَاع
الصَّحَابَة عَلَى أَنَّهُ لَا يُجْزِئ السُّجُود عَلَى الْأَنْف وَحْده ،
وَذَهَبَ الْجُمْهُور إِلَى أَنَّهُ يُجْزِئُ عَلَى الْجَبْهَة وَحْدهَا ،
وَعَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ وَأَحْمَد وَإِسْحَاق وَابْن حَبِيب مِنْ
الْمَالِكِيَّة وَغَيْرهمْ يَجِب أَنْ يَجْمَعهُمَا وَهُوَ قَوْلٌ
لِلشَّافِعِيِّ أَيْضًا
“Dikutip dari Ibnul Mundzir adanya ijma’ (kesepakatan) sahabat nabi
bahwa menempelkan hidung saja tidaklah cukup ketika sujud. Sedangkan
jumhur (mayoritas) ulama berpendapat bahwa menempelkan jidat saja sudah
cukup. Sedangkan dari Al Auza’i, Ahmad, Ishaq, Ibnu Habib dari kalangan
Malikiyah dan selain mereka mewajibkan menggabungkan antara jidat dan
hidung. Ini juga pendapat Asy Syafi’i.” (Fathul Bari, 3/204)
Kemudian, bukan hanya hidung tapi juga masker tersebut menutup mulut.
Ini pun juga terlarang, para ulama -seperti Syaikh Sayyid Sabiq-
mengkategorikan makruhatush shalah (hal dimakruhkan dalam shalat).
Berdasarkan hadits berikut:
عن أبي هريرة قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن السدل في الصلاة، وأن يغطي الرجل فاه
“Dari Abu Hurairah, katanya: “Rasulullah ﷺ melarang menjulurkan kain
ke bawah ketika shalat dan seseorang menutup mulutnya.” (HR. Abu Daud
No. 643, Al Baihaqi, As Sunan Al Kubra, No. 3125, Ibnu Khuzaimah No.
772, dan Al Hakim No. 631, katanya shahih sesuai syarat Bukhari dan
Muslim)
Lalu, karena ini kasusnya adalah ada SEBAB, ada uzur syar’iy, yaitu
menghindari tersebarnya virus penyakit, seperti yang tertera dalam
pertanyaan maka ini tidak apa-apa, sebagaimana difatwakan sebagian

Syaikh Abdurrahman As Suhaim menjelaskan:

kebutuhan. Berdasarkan larangan menutup mulut saat shalat, tetapi wajah

أما إذا وُجِدت الحاجة – مثل شِدّة
الْحَرّ أو شِدّة البرد – فإن الكراهة تزول ، ففي حديث وائل بن حُجْر رضي
الله عنه : ثم جئت بعد ذلك في زمان فيه بَرْد شديد ، فرأيت الناس عليهم جل
الثياب تَحَرّك أيديهم تحت الثياب . رواه الإمام أحمد وأبو داود والدارمي .
وصححه الألباني والأرنؤوط .
Tetapi jika ada kebutuhan seperti lantai yang sangat panas atau
sangat dingin, maka kemakruhannya teranulir. Dalam hadits Wail bin Hujr
Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu: “Kemudian aku datang setelah itu, di waktu yang
sangat dingin, aku melihat manusia melebarkan pakaiannya dan
menyelinapkan tangannya di bawah pakaiannya. (HR. Ahmad, Abu Daud.

Hilangnya kemakruhan ini berdasarkan kaidah syar’iyah:
الكراهة تندفع مع وجود الحاجة
Makruh itu tertahan bersamaan dengan adanya keperluan/kebutuhan.
Hal ini diperkuat oleh fakta bahwa para ulama membolehkan menutup
mulut saat mencegah menguap dalam shalat, maka menutup mulut dalam
rangka pengobatan lebih utama lagi untuk dibolehkan.
Imam Ibnu ‘Allan Rahimahullah mengatakan -tentang menahan menguap dalam shalat:
“Yaitu tahan sejauh kemampuan dia dengan menutup mulutnya, kalau
tidak mampu maka dia letakkan tangannya di mulutnya.” (Dalilul Falihin,
6/175)
Imam Al Munawi mengatakan: “Dengan tangan kiri bagian punggungnya.” (Faidhul Qadir, 1/404)
Syaikh Dhiya’ ‘Abdil ‘Aal mengatakan:
فإن العلماء نصوا على جواز تغطية الوجه لدفع التثاؤب، ونصوا على أن تغطيته للوقاية من الأمراض أولى
Sesungguhnya para ulama mengatakan bolehnya menutup wajah untuk
mencegah “menguap”, maka perkataan mereka bahwa bolehnya menutup wajah
untuk mencegah penyakit adalah lebih utama (untuk dibolehkan). (selesai)
