فَلْيُنْفِقْ مِمَّآ اٰتٰىهُ اللّٰهُ ۗ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسًا
اِلَّا مَآ اٰتٰىهَاۗ سَيَجْعَلُ اللّٰهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُّسْرًا
Latin:
liyunfiq żụ sa'atim min sa'atih, wa mang qudira 'alaihi rizquhụ
falyunfiq mimmā ātāhullāh, lā yukallifullāhu nafsan illā mā ātāhā,
sayaj'alullāhu ba'da 'usriy yusrā
Artinya:
Hendaklah orang yang mempunyai keluasan memberi nafkah menurut
kemampuannya, dan orang yang terbatas rezekinya, hendaklah memberi
nafkah dari harta yang diberikan Allah kepadanya. Allah tidak membebani
kepada seseorang melainkan (sesuai) dengan apa yang diberikan Allah
kepadanya. Allah kelak akan memberikan kelapangan setelah kesempitan.

1. Hadis Tentang Perintah Sedekah
Sedekah
menjadi salah satu sifat yang sangat disenangi oleh Allah SWT. Bahkan,
dalam hadits riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim, Rasulullah bersabda mengenai
keutamaan sedekah bisa menjaga diri dari api neraka
"Jaga
lah diri kali dari neraka sekalipun hanya sedekah setengah biji kurma.
Barangsiapa yang tak mendapatkannya, maka ucapkan lah perkataan yang
baik."
2. Ayat Al-Qur'an tentang Keutamaan Sedekah
Sedekah bukan
menjadikan seorang Muslim menjadi miskin tetapi malah menjadikan kaya
raya. Hal ini sesuai dengan ayat tentang sedekah dan infaq dalam Quran
surat Al Baqarah ayat 276 yang berbunyi
Arab: يَمْحَقُ اللّٰهُ الرِّبٰوا وَيُرْبِى الصَّدَقٰتِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ اَثِيْمٍ
Latin: yam-ḥaqullāhur-ribā wa yurbiṣ-ṣadaqāt, wallāhu lā yuḥibbu kulla kaffārin aṡīm
Artinya:
Allah memusnahkan riba dan menyuburkan sedekah. Allah tidak menyukai
setiap orang yang tetap dalam kekafiran dan bergelimang dosa.
Selain
itu, ada juga hadits riwayat Bukhari yang menjelaskan keutamaan sedekah
bisa menjadikan sebuah harta yang besar layaknya gunung.
Rasulullah
bersadba, "Barangsiapa bersedekah senilai satu biji kurma yang berasal
dari mata pencaharian yang baik, dan Allah tidak akan menerima kecuali
yang baik. Maka sesungguhnya Allah akan menerimanya dengan tangan
kanan-Nya, kemudian dipelihara untuk pemiliknya sebagaimana seseorang di

Sedekah diriwayatkan dalam hadits riwayat Muslim, bahwa Rasulullah SAW
bersabda memberi atau bersedekah lebih baik daripada yang meminta.

memberi dan tangan di bawah adalah yang meminta."
