Mengutip tulisan Ustadz Ahmad Hasanuddin Umar, Khadimul Masjid Pangeran
Diponegoro Balaikota Yogyakarta ini, menjelaskan, banyak mudharat dan
bahayanya jika melucu atau bercanda dengan berbohong. Dalam salah satu
hadis Nabi shallallahu alaihi wa sallam dijelaskan ancaman bagi mereka
yang melucu dengan berbohong ;
عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ
حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى
اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ فَيَكْذِبُ
لِيُضْحِكَ بِهِ الْقَوْمَ وَيْلٌ لَهُ وَيْلٌ لَهُ. (رواه أبو داود كتاب
الآداب باب التشديد في الكذب، والترمذي وأحمد)
Dari Bahz bin Hakim ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku Bapakku dari
Bapaknya ia berkata, “Aku mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi
wasallam bersabda: “Celakalah bagi orang yang berbicara lalu berdusta
untuk membuat orang lain tertawa. Celakalah ia, celakalah ia.” (HR. Abu
Dawud dalam Kitab Adab bab teguran keras dari perbuatan berdusta)
Hadis di atas menjelaskan bahayanya berbohong (berdusta), walaupun
tujuannya untuk membuat orang lain tertawa (melawak). Apa bahaya?
Ternyata, dia akan dilaknat, “wailul lahu, wailul lahu“, jika mau
membuat orang lain senang, (idkhalus suruuur) lakukanlah tanpa perlu
dibarengi dengan kebohongan.
Dalil-dalil yang melarang berbohong dalam candaan
Bercanda
boleh saja, tetapi tidak boleh menyelipkan kebohongan atau dusta apapun
di dalamnya. Bercandalah seperlunya dan jangan berlebihan. Bercanda
begitu identik dengan tawa atau tertawa, dan banyak tertawa itu bukanlah
hal yang baik karena dapat mematikan hati.

لاَ تُكْثِرُ الضَّحَكَ فَإِنَّ كَثْرَةَ الضَّحَكِ تُمِيْتُ القَلْبَ

“Seorang hamba tidak beriman dengan sempurna, hingga ia meninggalkan
berkata bohong saat bercanda dan meninggalkan debat walau ia benar.”

Tinggalkanlah
kebohongan atau dusta dalam bercanda meski sekecil apapun itu.
Kejujuran dalam keadaan bagaimana pun merupakan suatu kebaikan untuk
meraih keridhaan dan surga-Nya.
Rasulullah bersabda: “Aku
menjamin sebuah rumah di pinggir Surga bagi siapa saja yang meninggalkan
perdebatan meskipun mengandung kebenaran. Aku juga menjamin rumah di
tengah Surga bagi siapa saja yang meninggalkan kebohongan meskipun
bercanda. Dan rumah di puncak Surga bagi siapa saja yang memperbaiki
akhlaknya (sampai berakhlakul karimah atau akhlak yang baik)”. (HR. Abu
Dawud)
Berdasarkan dalil-dalil tersebut, maka jelaslah bahwa hukum berbohong dalam candaan itu haram.
